Here is my last post on here-

I'm going to be doing a Business Bankruptcy on **********, and listing the remaining product that is owed on the schedule of creditors.

Patrons can write the loss off on their taxes.

No more product will ever be shipped. Patrons who are owed product, can contract the trustee if they have any questions.

I had a plan at the beginning of the year- To go back into real estate, and to offer free Aerial Photography and video editing as a way to network with Realtors and get mortgage leads. It was working pretty well, I was able to get about half the products that were owed shipped out.

Then, when everyone in this thread caught wind of it, people thought it would be funny to report my videos to the FAA. Myself, along with the realtors I was working with, were sent letters from the FAA questioning the videos.

All the cases have been closed, but this delayed my ability to sit for the Part 107 License almost 4 months.

Carter (Painthappy) was right, the best thing to do is just admit defeat, and walk away.

And that's what I plan on doing. My business went bankrupt, happens every day. Throwing in the towel and starting a new chapter in my life.

Bye everyone!

Well Mike hope this works out the best for you and your family.

Thank god this is finally over. Now everyone can refocus on trying to get YPBF to do the same. Just so I can watch the chaos in the PB community continue. Oh ya where are those paint lawsuits at to......

Essentially. They delivered product for a while (I think they were in business a couple years at least?) but ended up defaulting on a large number of pre-orders and trade-ins around the the time the CS1 was released.

Yeah. I just did a search on pbnation and looked at their FB page.. Seems to be what happened.

I've been tip toeing on getting back in the sport here as of late. After some bad deals on pbnation the last time I was in it I think i'll stay away.

No reason to stay away. These are just two cases of people who had poor business models from the beginning, and it all had to come crashing down sometime. Just buy from a reputable dealer like paintballgateway.com, ansgear.com, or even better your local store if you have one. Bottom line is if it sounds too good to be true it most likely is.

Hopefully the people who were owed product will be satisfied with this recent development.
Mike filing for bankruptcy was the most probable outcome when orders stopped shipping especially given all the other issues Mike was stating earlier.

I really hope the PB community uses this as a reminder to stay away the next time a penny auction site pops up and someone with "celebrity status" attempts to drive traffic by stating the site is legit.

Doubtful...I'm sure "something" will happen to keep it going. Curious as to why Ryan Williams hasn't spoken on this final development?

Well this end is bittersweet. On the one hand at least it's over, but on the other hand, this was drama you can't buy and truly the end of an era.

Excellent post. I'm sure some will think I'm being a jerk, but these "Paintball Celebrities" are by and large kind of bad for paintball, IMO. It feeds into the whole, "I'm bigger than you" mentality, which I think is a huge turn off for many players.

I've gotten to know several of these 'celebrity' types at a surface-level in the last couple of years. Many of them seem like pretty decent people but all the ones I've met completely buy into their own hype, their b.s. While I get along with them, it was annoying being around such arrogant people, especially people who have such big egos over something as unimportant as paintball.

People from a distance think they are doing all of this, whether it be commanding games, Youtube Channels, websites, etc. to "grow the sport" but it's obvious once you get close it's all about building their ego. I've always found it amusing that the events these celebrities promote for us players to attend, they usually don't pay to play the event themselves.

I've even seen that for charity events, which is about as hypocritical as it gets. Mike definitely fit this description, but from my experience many of these celebrities aren't much, if at all, better than Mike.

Getting back to honest businesses (which there are plenty) and a true community and not this silly pecking order, would do wonders for this sport.
