The NPPL can confiscate a gun up to three days after the event ends. That should be more than enough time to check all 64 of the Speedy2's possible ramp activation codes. (2^n = number of ramping combinations)

Actually the markings on the speedy chip are exactly the same as a stock chip. Those letters/numbers only refer to the the type of PIC chip used.

Yeh there are a lot more than 64 combinations. Sequences can range from 4 button combos all the way up to 6. So add a few of 0's, at least (dont feel like doing the math) and you have your answer.
Then, they have one of the speedy chips, not all of them. As well, they dont even know if its a speedy for sure or not so theyre taking a huge gamble with time by even trying to figure out the secret code.

The refs weren't on there game, I won't name any teams but I watched a ref sit right next to a kid who one one fingering about 20 bps...the ref did not even go after the kid.

The best is when the Ironmen get shot out, isn't it funny they all shoot the ground a few times when they get to the deadbox? I saw some of those boys crony on the Spyder field Sunday morning, ain't no way those timmys are close to legal.

112 codes then. They could always have Dye take a look at the chip and see what is loaded on it.

I think Calin said he'd be willing to do that for refs since the AdvantagePB intimidator boads are coming out.

When NPPL/PSP confiscates your gun, they can open it up. Dave Oschell (one of the PSP Coordinators) told us this. Calin I think also said a few times they have brought him Intimidators asking if it was a legit board or not.

Ya, I know PSP can, when I reffed at Chi town the player with the eledged 'illegal gun' can protest it and when they do that, they take it to the manufacturer.

What sucks is, that big name teams are caught, their sponsors arent going to rat them out.

For example, we caught a Femme with a ramper chip in her dm4, and they protested and they took it to Dye. Dye said 'Trigger Malfunction'

So...if a ref is watching you, Pretend you broke a ball. Whip out a squeege and break a ball in your breach, causeing the gun to go into a bypass mode and it shoots all slow! Problem solved.

DM4's have the largest potential to be cheater. Because there is such a large variety of Chips out there.

My buddy sells DM4 ramping chips. To where you hold the trigger down for 3 seconds, and it goes into ramping mode. It's virtually undectable to refs.
