Ummm im pretty sure the tank was a nitro duck...thats what the captain said...i asked him through the side of the net where the ton ton tent is.......beware nitro duck...also the system-x tent the guy in it said the same thing happened with a nitro duck to his team mate....but i might be wrong about the tank so dont get butt hurt and go crazy if i am..thats what the captain said

Ya, i was walking around when i heard a hissing then i saw the tank in the air. Me and my dad went over to the netting where the team was and the guy did come over and tell us he almost **** himself lol. (I was wearing glasses and a "We Kill Suckers" Headwrap)

It was on sunday like 11 oclock.

i was on the that team, it was true colors, the kid that it happend to it kreetis ( flya on pbn), anyways, it was a nitro duck tank, and it WAS hydrod, it was one of those adjustable ones, and it stapped somewere in the reg, had nothing to do with the bottle, the kid was standing right next to me, if that **** hit him or me in the jaw, it would have easilt taken a head off,

The NPPL field of all fields, the most watched field. I was on the other side of the field getting ready to play the team it happened to, weird stuff..... Probly from diving and banging on the asphalt.

Just to confirm and clarify the story on the tank.


It was a screw in Nitro duck dated 06.03. I was one of the photograpers and got pictures of it. In the air and on the ground.

Thank God no one was hurt. props to the ref who gave out the heads up yell. He definitely saved someone from getting hurt.

Lesson to be learned from this all is to check your stuff regularly.

I have to agree. Because regs have to be taken off now, people are doing stupid things like installing the regs back themselves when they get to the field.

Might cost a little more, but far better to get your tanks shipped to your hotel a few days before hand.

First of all fellas, the tank was mine, I play for True Colors and yes the tank was in hydro it was a 03. Somehow the tank malfunctioned(a nitro duck 68/4500 x stream adjustable) and blew off a couple inches from my head with no warning sign. The tank was even checked by the people at the fill station( the reason why I had a green strap on tank.) The reg was put back on fine and it was just a malfunction inside the reg. I'm just glad to be alive.

THAT could happen from time to time. In our working Office (Fire Brigade) a 6 litre HP 300 bar Tank went off. It was fully loaded. God we had luck we could get out of the way and jump under an iron Table before that thing come down.

First of all it hits the Bottom of the room and dent it ! Than it goes right up at the Ceiling (is it spelled correct ?) and then thru some other Working Table that had a metal working surface. DAMN !

The Tank was tested one Year ok and didnt show any flew or failture.

And these tanks normally filled over and over again.

High pressure can be real dangerous also if you are carefull. But you dont need to be afraid of it.

Just use real real care if you handle any Pressure Tanks.

My first comment was said do to the fact that people said the tank was 2 years out of hydro, no i was not there i was going on what people above me had said, i already said that now that i learned it was completly the tanks fault, and that it was in hydro i was sorry it happened...
