How to have a cheater gun and not get DQ'd
Heaven and Hell (div. III) player had a full auto gun, but before the referee asked him to turn it over he shut it off. Several referees admitted to witnessing the gun shooting full auto, but when it was turned back on and put on the robot it was fine.
The rules state that if the player shuts off the gun AFTER he is asked to relinquish the gun then the team is DQ'd, but since it was done BEFORE the player was asked, there was NO penalty. After talking to Dan Perez I found out they can't do anything about this loophole now, so if you want to use a cheater gun in NPPL just make sure you beat the ref to the punch and shut off the cheater mode before he can open his mouth.

I think people should concentrate more on making a cheater Halo. No one checks those. Flip a switch on it after the game and it slows the max feed rate down to 12bps. Should get you by any test.

By next year this loophole will be closed.

Because whenever i play i dont have to worry about any sh** i just play my game and let the adrenaline pump through my body. ^that's a pretty well known technique, and it shouldn't fool anyone.
Hyper - The halo idea is actually pretty good
All - There is only one thing that is certain, that people will always find ways to cheat. All you can do is make the penalties severe and put more eyes on the players.

the thing is reffs are supposed to be paying attention during the game to pull him out the game and then test the gun giving him NO opportunity to turn it off, it was made VERY clear in the capts. meeting that they wouldnt wait to the end of a game, that they will pull u during the game if they suspect it of "adding shots"

Why doesnt the nppl purchase all these chips and teach the refs how to enable the modes?!?? It would be soooo simple to catch them if they learned the codes to enable the chips.

^^^ aexactly. the advantage pb llc speedy 2 chip (one of the ones from advantage that was banned whether or not it is used to cheat) enables you to build a certain code that you make up to switch into cheater mode. such as:
1. power button
2. eye toggle
3.eye toggle
4.power button
5.eye toggle
6. power button
now thats the 300 dollar one. the 200 dollar one comes with a preset cheater booting sequence. the refs probabaly know that one. then theres two 100 dollar one- one is a NXL board- the other is a board with tourney legal stock mode and max your loader at 6 bps (very fast, ive shot one)

if you pull the trigger or touch a switch after the reff asks for your gun: instant dq.

cheating is gay. pros are gay. the only thing that makes a pro a pro is that he can cheat better than all the amatures.

the speedy chip themselves has markings on it, my bet is that the nppl will be having people open up the grip frame and will be inspecting the chips.
