VIP is a Joke. Total waste of money. Dissapointment
The VIP section at the NPPL Super 7 Commander’s Cup was not worth the cost and it was a complete disappointment. When I think of the term VIP I think “Very Important Person.” I think about being waited upon and catered to. This was not the case in the VIP area set up by Pure Promotions.
I decided that I would not sit in the bleachers due to the advertisement that was on the NPPL website that claimed that the VIP section provided the best viewing area, unlimited drinks, and unlimited food. Only one of these was provided, and that was the drinks. But, even that was a disappointment, because the drinks available were served after waiting in line (Not brought to you by a server), and they were warm cups of beer.
The view offered was horrendous. Instead of VIP, they should have called it “Obstructed View.” The DJ Booth took up 1/3 of the left side view, and the camera stage took up another 1/3 of the right-center view. That left 1/3 of the field to be seen. That’s about 5 bunkers. The people in the VIP area could not follow the full action and excitement of the games. My family and I ended up moving the Grandstands so we could see the games.
There was no food being provided, and this was an obvious area of total disregard for the customer. I spoke with Chuck Hendsch, the NPPL president, and he only put the blame on Pure Promotions. For myself, my wife, and my cousin I spent $159.05 on 3 VIP tickets. We were shown not one ounce of respect, regard, or courtesy. The beer was warm, the view was awful, and the advertisement lied about food.
I give the experience an “F,” due to the lie and to the poor response from Mr. Hendsch. More should be expected out of these companies, especially when people are actually spending a lot of money to get something more than those who spend nothing.

DarthAlan speaks the truth. I won't ever go V.I.P. again. I also doubt I will ever sponsor an NPPL event. I'm not a big company now, but hopefully someday I will be.

Huge mistake paying for VIP. I spent $100 for my wife and I so I could show her a good time. We went into the VIP area, walked to the end looked around, said "this is it?" and left the VIP area right away. What a joke. The view sucked. We went to the top of the grandstands on the oppisite side and that was a million times better then VIP.
Never again will I do that dumb crap again.

I agree the VIP area in San Diego sucked because of the obstructed view. It was however much better in Denver. It was setup on a hill side that overlooked the field and was awesome. I guess it all depends on the venue. In Denver they had sandwhiches of some sort but alas I didn't get any because they immediately ran out.
Also a little off topic but did anyone else notice on the NPPL site it said free parking. Was a little surprised when I was hit up for $10 luckily I had an NPPL ID with me the other days I went or I would have spent 30 bucks on parking alone. Normally I wouldn't care. I pay parking at football games and other events but at these you know ahead of time that this is an additional expense. However having thought i did my homework from the NPPL website and it said FREE PARKING. I was pissed.

Yeah well I wasen't in the VIP area and I did pay for parking. I thought the VIP was a joke considering most of my friends had the VIP tickets cuz they were on teams and got them for free yet they still came to the General Stands because they said they couldn't see anything. The only reason they even like the VIP was that you could walk in grab a Bawls energy drink then leave and come back and get another after another. So they did that while we saved their seats so we got free drinks out of it which I thought was cool but I had many complaints about it as well.

and to get to the top of the bleachers, you have to have a pass, and I was able to use my crumy VIP pass to sit up there, but people who didn't even have any type of pass just went up the middle of the bleachers instead of the stairs and were able to get free seats that were suppose to be paid for
