How to clean and maintain?

I tried a search and found nothing.

I'm looking for a great thread or guide with a step by step of how and what to clean/maintain on your marker. Whether it's electronic, pump or mech.

Too many untrustworthy youtube videos to go through.

Thank You!

Download and read the owners manual for the markers you have.

Depends on what marker you have.

Manuals usually do a good job at explaining exactly what needs to be done. Try giving it another read.

I agree with the previous post.

Check in the manufacturers section of the forum and I would guess a "how to" guide to maintaining almost every marker out there can be found. They are made by people who have owned that equipment for a bit, for he most part.

Happy hunting!

As mentioned the manual is the best place to to start. I definitely agree that many manuals are fairly poorly written.

Many Youtube videos are very helpful actually, with the first one that pops up usually being spot on.

If you need help from there, the marker specific forums here usually have stickies on maintenance. And helpful members to answer any questions not covered.

While many markers can be similar, they will all have their little quirks to make them different. There is NO end all way to maintain paintball markers. You have to look for a specific guide for a specific gun.

these are "universal" ideas, but every gun is a little different. You're best off looking up the manual for the gun you're thinking about and looking at the diagrams and learning them. I've learned that reading directions is a *****, but understanding what you're working on is easy.

Learn the gun before you go into maintenance as it makes everything really easy and intuitive and you have a far closer to 0% chance of ****ing **** up.
