Hustle just released a new product:

Mods not letting me post a link; just search 3D Printed Bunkers on hustle paintball

Quality mini plastic bunkers, great for making mini layouts, for coaches, to have, to plan, and just a great product! I think it's a necessity for coaches and some players.
54 Piece Miniature Bunker Set
1- A Bunker
5- Big Dorito Bunker
4- Tower Bunker
4- Big Can Bunker
4- Tall Cake Bunker
2- Small Dorito Bunker
4- Temple Bunker
8- Small Can Bunker
4- Cake Bunker
6- Race Bunker
2- Wing Bunkers
6- Snake Beams
4- Elbows

Why print a layout when you can make one? And reuse it. Over and over! New layouts, old layouts, local layouts.

I dunno, just seemed cool to me. I like the product. Thoughts??

It seems to me that flipping through a few sheets of paper with layouts printed on them is much more simple and easy than setting up a field on a table with plastic pieces.

If you have to use a printed layout as a visual reference to "reuse" this product, what's the point?

Look up the layout online, then just make it.

you still need a gridded piece of paper. What's the advantage? What would you use this for that makes it better than a piece of paper?

You can get a more realistic view, more lanes. If you want you can get magnets and a magnetic whiteboard for it.

They look like they're printed with a 3-d printer. I imagine that anyone could easily design and print these, assuming that you had a printer available to you

I'm sure the idea wasn't stolen. I also know someone who's been working on or was, doing this. If you have one of those maker bot 3d printers your already half way there.

My thoughts, a piece of felt with gridded lines and Velcro on the bottom of the bunkers. Then just use colored yarn.

Are they really going to try and sell 3d printed mini bunker kits??? If they are, at least make the prints good half way decent. Those look horrible.

Plus, no one stole the idea from anyone. It is an obvious evolution of coaching tools for the sport.

Test set. As said above. So they are being improved.

Coming from someone who does a lot of miniatures wargaming and sand table plotting for historical reenacting, I would say these are a helpful tool. When properly set up, you can get down to table level and actually see where blindspots are better. Every bit of visualization aid helps in reinforcing plans in a person's mind, and 3-D is better than a piece of paper for that. Obviously it has its limits for portability, but it's another powerful tool for the coach.

Is the scale available so that a field could be made to scale as well?
