Paintball Drills

Hi guys,

I was wondering if there are any paintball drills I can do at home since it's a bit hard for me to get to a field more than twice a week.

I have a fairly large yard.

Any suggestions would be great!

YouTube has a lot of drills from Oliver Lang and other pro players. You can setup something to use as a bunker and practice snap shooting. Lean out shoot two shots lean back in and just keep repeating that to get use to hitting accurately during snap shots.

if you are allowed to shoot in your yard i would set up a paint box on a pole and practice running and shooting that box. this will help major on being able to hit a target consistently while running on break out

except he'll probably be bad at first and he'll end up repainting the ground and the house (source: after years of playing I'm still bad and most of the time my paint still goes everywhere)

Running and gunning is never "accurate". You just practice to make it less horrible for the most part lol.

you start by doing it while walking then gradually work your way up to running

Exactly. Why I would never suggest anyone doing it in their back yard

Not unless you're very rural. I wouldn't suggest anyone spend a lot of time shooting their paintball gun in an urban environment.

While you watch tv, just take your gun and switch back and forth with your off-hand. It will feel weird at first but after constant switching you'll get the feel for it!

you can also just practice walking the trigger. my favorite thing to do it with a mirror on the wall and a corner practice snapping so you can see how much you are showing. you can do it with a camera as well.
i have about 500 reballs and a cage set up in my garage that i practice break out shooting.

- 2 great drills! The 1st link is for keeping you gun steady as you move and the second link is snap shooting.
