VIS and spire.

Anyone had issues with the spire feeding the VIS engine on stock sensitivity settings? Haven't really noticed on 12.5 but went to uncapped semi and it really feels like it's skipping shots. Brand new energizers so I will save you that one :p

If the marker is skipping shoots, then that the markers fault. Not the hopper...

unless the marker has nothing to shoot. Which is what I am asking if anyone else is experiencing. People experienced similar issues with VCOM engines spire wasn't picking up every shot.

If the marker has nothing to shoot, but shoots anyway. Then the bolt/eye delay is to low and the eyes are seeing the bolt as a ball and thinks it ready to fire again with nothing in the breach(skipping shoots).

If the marker is shuttering, then yes it's likely the hopper. Adjust the hopper sensitivity to correct that.

Bob said in a video that you need to turn the sensitivity up when using the spire.

Team mate had same issue... Spool in his Vic the Spire wouldn't feed it fast enough.... He called Virtue but no setting would feed that spool engine right ... He now uses a rotor ... I know it's sad but Bob made his spool really really good ...

it's the VIS engine in my case. I changed the spire sensitivity to 5 tension to 1 popcorns slightly when really low on paint, but it keeps up now.

Up the sensitivity of the Spire. It should pick up the VIS shot. Both spires still have issues with the Vcom engine at times, but I have a couple of Rotors too if I have issues. I normally use the VIS engine though, so it isn't an issue.

Wait! I was going to upgrade to a spire.... I guess I should stick to my crappy rotor? The jamming is strong with this one.

Well I purchased a 260 to use on my VIS and will be trying it out this weekend. I was mostly curious if someone had settled on specific settings that they find to work the best.

Wish they would come out with some kind of RF signal and receiver set up. Gun shoots, signals hopper that it shot.

Thanks

I have a 260 that I use on my VISs ... and it works great. I'm in the middle of writing employe reviews, but I'll try to get the settings that are working for me later this week.

Mine had the same issue. The vis is so smooth that the spire wasn't sensing the shots. Try upping the sensitivity.

Yes, I turned up the sensitivity, and turned down the torque or tension so it wouldn't popcorn. Works like a charm.
