We just found out we can make Vortex in this Camo Pattern out of our material. The lead time would be long and we would have to commit to a large amount of material. I would like to hear from fields and stores if they would have interest in Vortex for their lasertag, paintball or splatmaster operations in this camo pattern?

Interesting comment. Our field is in Eastern Washington State and we are in semi-desert climate. We get plenty of wind and our share of dust storms. The only entrance of air is about 4 inches off the ground. The wind carrying dust will enter the bunker. However it is minimal. The great thing about these bunkers is that all parts are removable and you are able to shake them out quickly. Also every once in awhile you may machine wash on the gentle cycle if necessary, however, we do recommend not washing them too often as it will contribute to the fabric breaking down quicker. Anyway, the bunkers will be fine in a dusty environment.

Excellent question and a reassuring answer. This really do seem like a great solution for fields.

Colorado?

Brad-Division. These started in Colorado? I worked and played at Splatmaster (Colorado Springs) in 99-04. Are these in anyway connected to the bunkers they used? If I remember correctly the owner of Splatmasters in Colorado Springs was also an entrepreneur of sort and dabbling in other businesses. Not sure if this is related or he was just using this brand/type of bunkers.

In regards to the batteries and fan, what is the amp draw of the fan? Seems like a solar option could be a possibility for a power source?

There is a possibility, but we have not explored solar at this time. We are at our local fair this week. Vortex stay inflated all day, no blowers, no downtime. Laser tag setup and take down daily a breeze.

Self-inflating is a nice feature. Makes the whole system a whole lot more portable.

Just how fast can we set up our 42 bunker 100 x 180 speedball field? 3 Videos to show you. See how much time it takes for 2 people to self inflate Vortex Bunkers. Huge Labor savings year.

field setup.

So, about 9 hours and 12 minutes to set the field up then. Charging time counts too, since you can't set the field up until that's done. Unless you have two sets of batteries that is.

Yes we charge over night. We have almost finished a remote system as well which would allow you to turn on all with a push of a button. This would be great for smaller fields that may not have consistent all day use of their speedball fields. Anytime anyone is not using the field, you could simply turn them all off for the down time.

Having said this, we don't have any issues for battery run time or charging.

The put up and take down time and washing is significantly less than any other system on the market.

I'd still never trust the system unless I had a set of backups lol. I've never The remote control is an awesome idea though.
