Is this something you could see in the Axe's future? Something like what Bob Long did with the Victory.

It's not hard to design a blowfoward engine for the Axe, but I doubt Empire would do that. If Empire made a typical blowforward spool engine, it'd be less efficient, probably louder, and be harder on paint than the current engine.

It's possible that they could design a non-tradition spool engine to work in an Axe, but they'd probably make more money putting the new engine in a new gun.

Sealing the breech is what I found the most challenging in those types of designs. I found that I needed it balanced at rest to make the existing infrastructure work.

Pretty sure it's dead. The solution to some of the issues I saw with this design became it's own project.
