Anyone have problems with their tester leaking? I just got one and it leaks bad. If I apply pressure from the top it stops, do I need to swap out the top and bottom 06 rings for 07's?

yea it was with the vis engine, it was shooting fine a month ago but recently I lost all my effeciency it was still chronoeing it just wasnt good shot quality. Where do you find a better guage what should the range be 60 to 90?

I have found 60 to 62 psi seems to work best for me when using my VIS engines. Vcom engines seem to have a broader range of 55 to 65, so I normally set my LPR to 60 or so and don't touch it when swapping engines. PM me your address on the X7OG and I'll send you an updated LPR gauge, I already have tow nice vic pressure testers, I don't have a need for this other gauge.

I would just start by lubing and swapping the 06s with other 06s ... I guess it is possible you would need to use a 7, but I have not seen that before on a tester, just Vcom engines.

Yeah I put in new 06's and lubed it with 55 to help them swell, still leaks. I don't have any 07's so I'll have to source those.

I'll pick up that ashcroft gauge from you if still available.

I had the same problem with the tester, after replacing the 06 to 07, it stopped the leak on the tester.

Another one I can't find any info on.

What are the sizes of the 3 orings on the bolt shaft, i accidentally lubed with dow 55 and am seeing a low chrono now. Figured i would swap these out as they have probably swelled.

Edit: I just called Blast the front 2 are 008, the rear is 011

I just wanted to say that I got the opportunity to shoot a vis today, I was blown away at how well the new bolt engine shot! Ultra smooth almost spongey feeling I'm sold. I will be adding one to my arsenal soon.

Got my fancy new VIS in today and put some air to it. Gonna play with it Sunday. Factory settings are 75/180. 290, 292, 295. Figured I would leave it there for a tank of air and some break in. I had a VCOM before it with the spool and SC engine.

Let me just say...Holy Mother of God. Won't be using the Spool engine any time soon...if ever. Can't wait to see what it does after broken in a little. Now, I was not shooting paint, and in uncapped semi...OLED screen said 25...not sure how accurate those are...but wow...thing is soooo fast and snappy feeling but with no kick.

Absolutely blown away. Is it Sunday yet?

75 LPR is a little on the high side but will make it bullet proof ... when you want to start messing with the LPR pressure a little, let us know.

Yeah it is high. From what I read it sounded like keeping it a little higher for the first couple thousand shots helps with break in? Or is that a myth?

I did keep my pressure tester from my VCOM since the VIS doesn't come with one. Was planning to turn the LPR down to between 62-63.

What dwell are you running now big pappa?

The VIS engine will break in a little ... All three of my VIS engines shoot very muck alike and all have varied amounts of paint through them.

I'm using a Dwell of 8 with the VIS engine even in the winter ... works great. With the Vcom engine, i run a dwell of 9 in the summer and 10 in the winter.
