3 recommendations to replace the o-rings on the Viton. Who used that way?
Im still new at this...
i have reset my board..
so in the manual.. i have to set the board using tune assist,
so.. set the dwell.. done
then set bolt return... i cant change anything, the setting set the bolt return at 45 (i think the max)
My problem is... how to set the bolt return.... which button to push to set the bolt return.....
I have a color accent kit and was wondering if someone can assist in installing the bolt lock button. I didn't see where I could access that part for the change. Probably something really obvious, but didn't want to force anything. Thanks.

Hey guys, I have a 2014 vapor coming today. Been reading up on these threads and watching videos to get myself familiar with the marker. The part that concerns me is the type of tank to use. I have an older crossfire HP tank, and another crossfire tank with an SLP reg on it. Not sure which tank I can use on it as I've read HP is bad for the gun and SLP is also bad. Not sure if I can remove shims on those tanks, I'm not really familiar with doing that stuff either. Thanks in advanced!
i may be corrected. but i believe the reg has been changed to accept hp pressure.
if not some have used slp. the slp reg you have may be pre-set.
i would just find a standard ninja or other reg with output in the mids.
i did have a standard ninja with no shims around the 400ish psi on my 2012.
now im using sl pro v2 with no shims.
most to all guns can use the mid range psi. so getting that type of reg will not hurt any future guns.
Yeah, IMO SLP is just a useless waste of money. The INSANELY minor benefit a couple markers get from it isn't worth the hassle that so many other markers won't work corrrectly with it.
You CAN get a spring pack to make the Crossfire low pressure (I have one in my Crossfire). This will work perfectly with the 2014 Vapor (just used it on mine this past weekend and it performed marvelously, unlike the individual holding it).
Thanks for the reply guys! Yeah it seems the marker can handle HP no problem but Mid is said to be preferred so I'm going to pick up a ninja pro reg! Yeah the SLP I'm pretty much just using it on my angel and axe haha.
When I had my 2014, although it can handle HP, it would slightly leak until you did a few shots. When reduced to 550psi or less, no issues at all. I could have swollen the body to frame oring a bit to solve the issue.
