Ok, good. Thought you had those ****ed up "offroad only" plug in bulbs that glare like **** and are 99.9% of the time tested to be worse than normal bulbs.

iirc normal lights are supposed to be 35W, high beams 55W? Her car is just fairly high off the ground so it goes EVERYWHERE

He told me to plead not guilty. I wasn't even on my bike.

That's the part that made no sense to me

Hell my first speeding ticket back in my formative years was 43mph over the posted limit. As long as you aren't in jail it is just $$$.

yeah that's what I figured. yes, I broke the law, but I got ****ed.

I saw empty, straight open road at night and I had my brights on (lights up the entire road and the sides, it's impressive what LED's can do) so I gassed it and as I was getting off of my ramp I saw lights go on (he was in a SUPER dangerous spot. People here like to drive over the lines on the sides of roads and that's where he was, on the shoulder. If someone had decided to do that they would have killed him) and a car turn around, then bam eventually he pulled me over
LED's are bright! I get lights flashed all of the time with my new car.

I will show you brights.

Those are some skilled old farts. Reminds me of my dad. On a related note does anyone know how to fix a tire that has shifted on the rim without taking the wheel off?

Just got back from two back to back track days at Thompson. Saw a HUGE improvement from 2 days. I started in the beginner group because it had been two years since my last TD. After 2 sessions myself and a handful others got bumped up to intermediate. I was a little intimidated by intermediate but I held my own just fine. After a few sessions and working one on one with an instructor I was confidently passing people lap after lap.

Today was more of the same. Started in intermediate running in the middle to top of the pack. Had two just-okay sessions during the morning where I got caught up in a lot of traffic and couldn't get around. The following two sessions got red flagged. A few turns I kept hitting my toe slider and after riding with one of my buddies who races, something snapped and my body position changed. The last two sessions I went from sliding over just a little to having half a cheek off. That made a GREAT difference in confidence. I finally touched my knee down and was able to repeat the process due good body positioning and corner entry speed, rather than just touching down and getting spooked. So needless to say I was doing the happy dance in my leathers while making pretty dam good time around the track.

Between camping with track friends, having a big space in the garage and improving a lot it was a fantastic two days.

Looking good man. Flat bars make it a pain in the *** to get your upper body where it should be. Clip ons are like cheating after you're used to a naked.

Yeah I am a little crossed up in the top picture and looking a little better on the bottom one. Not sure if I have any decent pictures from our last out but I felt way comfortable. Biggest thing was getting my toes positioned properly because I kept hitting toe sliders first and spooking myself. Got the feet figured out, knee went down, butt came off and my upper body followed due to increased cornering speed.

It's a whole lot of things. It's held together by chewing gum and hopes and dreams. He sheared his rear sets off the frame jumping it.

just to get an idea of what I can do, I just priced out motorcycle insurance through progressive for a bmw s1000rr

would be like $3500 a year lol

To be honest I REALLY don't need a liter bike... the idea is awesome but I'll never use all that power... Currently making a spreadsheet of data with different bikes to sell which work better for me
