Question Spire Vs Pinokio Speed

OK, so here's the deal. I'm about to upgrade from my z2 (which I hate) to eathier a pinokio speed or a spire. Which ones better?

Also, i have a 1st gen pinokio if that helps at all.

Pros and con's?

Thanks in advance.

I own neither so i may be of no use but i have used a regular pinokio in the past and loved it and it never jammed. from what i heard, the speed has the exact same way of working just in a smaller profile shell. i've seen other peoples spire jammed but havent seen a pinokio jam. also ive heard alot of people consider it the best hopper on the market and they are one of the cheapest.

At this point I have officially owned every high end loader on the marker except for the GI Pulse. The Pinokio Speed is my loader of choice.

When it comes to most of the things that actually matter in game, the Speed surpasses everything else on the market (IMO). It is the lightest and jams the least, and can handle any paint you put through it. Whether it be shaped like an oval, or so brittle that it is breaking from knee height. It is also extremely reliable. I have had Pinokios since 2008 and I have only had to replace one bend sensor.

The Spire however does look much nicer, and it has better paint capacity. The lid is also a lot bigger which makes for easier reloading.

The weight is negligible between the two. They aren't Rotors in that department.

The Spire holds more standard by 20+ balls and has the 260 shell option. This to me is reason enough to choose it over the Speed.

The Spire is easier to clean if you break a ball in the hopper.

The Spire has a larger opening for filling it.

The Spire has easier changeover to rain lid.

As long as it's updated, the Spire should be trouble free.

The Speed feels cheaper, but has still proven very durable. I use them on my electronic rentals if that gives you any indication of the abuse they can take.

The Speed is far cheaper.

The Speed is better balanced on the gun.

The Speed gives you a better field of view.

The Speed battery cover comes off too easy.

The Speed has one button to worry about.

Personally, I almost always use a Spire. But the Speed is my next favorite hopper. You can't really to wrong with either.

Spire jam? You officially are the first person I've seen say that.

The Speed is a beast, but its profile lets it down. But, if your not willing to shell out $200 for a hopper, the Speed is an easy choice.
