Dwell 8, LPR flush for optium settings. If you want a smoother gun, you can raise your dwell and lower your operating pressure and LPR BUT.....you'll get less shots and it won't make all that much difference.
If you're worried about the kick, your mind is already in the wrong state. Every gun kicks about the same at the muzzle. The etek just has more internal vibration since it's a poppet gun.
Get out there and practice, the gun will work perfectly fine. I make great accurate shots with my etek 3, just the same as every other gun I've owned.
