Back cap not flush

Hey guys so I have a ripper vis and my back cap doesn't sit flush with the body. I have tried putting the two pieces in the oven at 300 for 5 mins sitting them in hot water as well as fingernail polish remover but the magnets still won't come out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

So the magnet is sticking out to far?

I would try torching it.

Yeah just a hair on both ends. How should I go about that without messing up the magnets or anno? Oven for longer? Acetone okay to use on it?

I was gonna suggest that, but wasn't sure if it would break the magnets.
