roll back issue

i have a brand new gi victus that seems to have a roll back issue. when you put a ball in the breach and till the gun up the ball rolls bak just far enough that the eyes dont read the ball. Is this a problem anyone else has had and is there a way to fix it because it doest seem like there is any way to adjust it,

I can't say i've experienced that issue.
Can you take a photo looking down the feedneck with the bolt in the back position?
All I can think... is possibly a square 114 oring - which is causing the bolt to move back a mm or so - if you pop out the drive train, can you see the square oring that acts as a bumper? When you put a ball in, does it roll about a lot? Is there a pillow bolt tip still in the bolt?

Just trying to think of a reason for it to roll back so far..

Also, what paint is it? I know the Insight has problems with 'green box' Marbs - something about oblong balls?

also, there is a new Soft Face Pillow Bolt out for the Insight - now, GI haven't said that it is fine to use it in the Insight, but the milling is the only change so I assume it'll be fine... this stops the roll back..

Of course it's fine to use. The two are identical internally.

Yep - it's just one of those things that Bob can't say "It'll work for both" - as it is down to GI to announce if they will... even though we all know the Victus is an Insight...
