M17 Magazines

What does everyone use to carry their magazines with? I am trying to find a mag pouch that will hold two of the magazines together with the coupler on them.

I use

M4 pouches don't work (it seems, maybe open top ones work).
but AK pouches work perfect...

$22 for a set of two, and you only need one to hold 2 clipped together mags.

ie. you can carry 4 mags with only 2 fazmags.

I have the fazmags now but they are just not strong enough to hold two mags together without them bouncing around in them. Fazmags might work well with Zetamags but even with just one milsig mag in them they seem to move a lot in them. It is why I am trying to find a pouch that will hold 2 of them together.

I have faz mags and they don't bounce around at all. They sit in there nice and tight.

I too use the fazmags. To keep them tighter to your body just tie some para cord accross and interweaved thru the molle and top back portion of the fazmag. It prevents them from drooping forward as much. Havnt had a mag fall out except once when i first got them...wanted to see how well the mag would stay in while shaking it. Lets just say it takes A LOT of force to make one fly out and after the mag hit my coffee table nothing broke and everything still works.

I'm in this boat no. NO FAZMAGS. They stick out WAYYYY to far from your body, i want something more compact. I'm pretty sure AK pouches are the only way to go. I absolutely hate fazmags.

I don't know how much tighter fazmags can be. With the top portion tightly in the molle strap on your vest or in my case battlebelt, they're pretty tight.
