Anyone still do PM8 wired eyes?

I know most of the people making them stopped, but was wondering if anyone still did them?

I find myself in the unenviable position of having my eyes dye, and found out why the 7th Element board is so inexpensive. When I removed my eyes from the board, the cable stayed in the connect, pulling the ENTIRE CONNECTOR off the board. So I now need wired eyes, new board, or use it blind.

Well yeah, but the problem is the wires are too thick and won't fit in a PM8. Eraysor (I may have spelled that wrong, but alternativepb) used to make wire eyes using a thinner wire so that it would work in PM8's. Dye eyes don't without dremeling.

Just use regular dye ul eyes like on ans, they fit fine. Ive installed them in 2 differnt PM8s myself, just use athletic tape to hold it to the edges of the noid and they stay outa the way fine.

How convenient this came up just now since I just happened to recently finally break my ribbon eyes. Will the Dye UL eyes attach to a Virtue OLED board?

The problem isn't the frame and board (PM8 board has the wired eye connector and can receive standard DM eyes), it's the fact that STANDARD wired eyes like all the other DM's user are too thick, and won't route past the solenoid in the body to allow the frame to re-attach to the body without damaging them.

Yes, Virtue has both connectors. I have tried using standard DM eyes though, and they aren't even CLOSE to being able to fit on my PM8, so your mileage may vary if trying what Josh said.

If anyone does know of anyone who still makes wired eyes to fit the PM8, still looking for some.

I'm going to give DM eyes a whirl in my PM8 since the ribbon socket is now dead and I think I'll document the whole process along with some detailed pictures and how much time it really takes me.
