I sent in a 50/45 because of cracked gel coating. You sent me a 48/3000 in return. Why did I get a downgrade?

My axe has a leak somewhere around the poppet, when I flip the asa, (its not really a small leak) all the air shoots out the barrel. Can anyone diagnose the problem

There is no real way to fix cracking in the Gel coat of thanks. If the tank is within Hydro then we should be able to help. Please email us at tech@paintballsolutions.com with the following;

Name,
Shipping Address,
Zip Code
Phone Number,
Pictures of the Tank

Once we have that we can see what we can do.

Happens sometimes on the first fill unless the reg was tested prior to shipping. Either the reg seat didn't seal or piston oring didn't hold or broke. Call/email and get Rebuild kit with new piston. Knee should take care of it quick.. get a new burst disk too..

I'm glad i'm not the only with this gel coat cracking problem... I never even got to use this tank . Come back from a 2 year break and to my surprise found my tank like this.

Is there any way to adjust the thread of my tank so the stem isn't sticking out to the right side of the gun. It is sticking into the side of my wrist every time i shoot with my right hand.

To my knowledge there is not a way to adjust it. The best thing to do is try putting a soft nipple cover over it. Tank reg are tighten down to a certain spec.

Hello,

Before I ask my question let me tell you what I'm working with:

I recently purchased a used Mini that seems to be what they refer to here as version 2. It has an Optimus 1.6 board, a spring poppet, and all the other indicators of a marker of this generation. The marker has the stock spring and bolt. I use a Guerilla 48/3000 tank, and a Deadly Wind Fibur CF barrel.

I've been reading about the proper settings for the ASA and from what I can see, KEE suggests 200 PSI on the ASA. I am currently using that setting with the endcap turned out 3/4 of a turn. I have not messed with the dwell.

My questions are:

1. What are the manufacturer suggested ASA, endcap, and dwell settings?
2. What is the stock dwell setting for the Optimus 1.6 board?
3. How do you check/change the dwell on the 1.6 board?

Thanks!

1. What are the manufacturer suggested ASA, endcap, and dwell settings? -Asa, Around 185 FPS, Dwell Normal. more or less can cause Firing issues

2. What is the stock dwell setting for the Optimus 1.6 board?

To get into the dwell function, make sure the power is off, and then push the function
button (B) three times and the LED will turn to a solid orange and then fl ash to
indicate the current dwell setting. The Empire AXE dwell setting is defaulted at setting
28 (28 x .25 milliseconds = 7 ms). Dwell is adjustable from 1–45. This function is also
controlled through the same techniques used for if ring modes and ROF functions,
while the LED is lit a solid orange, increase or decrease your dwell by increments of
.25 milliseconds.

3. How do you check/change the dwell on the 1.6 board? The above should explain this already for you. If you have questions please let me know.

Thanks for your answer. Since you spoke about the Empire AXE in your response, I want to make sure we are on the same sheet. I was asking about the manufacturer suggested ASA settings for the Empire Mini. Additionally, I wanted you to suggest an end cap setting for the Mini that is appropriate for the recommended ASA and standard dwell settings, Thanks!

When removing shims and making a tank reg low pressure, it is just as important to know what you are setting it to. Removing 2 shims on this reg, would only be similar to removing shims on a different reg - each being slightly different. The pressure would need to be gauge checked prior to using the system on a marker requiring low pressure.
