You'll have to start from the tank and work you way up.
you've had it a while so eliminating the idea of you not greasing the drive train.
so either reg needs service and or the solenoid needs serviced.
i took it to the dye tech that was there and he said it sounds like the solenoid. But I wasn't going to have them fix it and spend a bunch of money if I could do it myself.
