I try to play snake! I use my axe and mini, and both guns are great. 14" JJ Barrel and you get your shots very straight instead of the crap stock barrels. Keep low, be patient and listen. I know sometimes I get super excited and get killed quick.

What help do you need with your setup? As long as you're comfy you're fine, you don't need the smallest or lightest gun on the market

Setup: whatever you are comfortable and confident with

Snake: stay alive, move up as much as possible, and don't worry too much about killing people. Be a distraction to the enemies.

the only bit of equipment advise I have is get some good elbow pads and get a gun that is comfortable for you to hold in whatever weird way you may need to. I had picked up an LV1 because It felt awesome when holding it regularly, But the first time I wrapped my thumb around the back of the feedneck the bolt pin got me about 6 times in the thumb.

A good supporting back player is one of the most important pieces of equipment for a snake player (make sure your communicate!!). Fast legs will also help get you there alive. A lot of guys have made some great points already, particularly on the value of simply being in the snake as an attention grabber for your opponents. Finally, know the field well and understand where you are vulnerable, and also what positions are vulnerable to you.
