Bob long 360 issues

Hey, I'm having trouble with my 360 reg spiking. I set it up on a spare asa to get the output pressure and it seems to spike after 250 psi. From 100 to around 250, it goes up 50 psi for just about every quarter turn, but after that it gets very sensitive, increasing about 50 psi for every little turn of the wrench. Anything past 325 and it spike up to 450 and stays steady, regardless if I back it off or not(my gauge was leaking a bit on my asa tester setup so I found that odd it would still stay even after backing off the bottom screw completely.) Another thing is that when it is in the sensitive "spike" range(above 250) it will jump all the way up to 800 psi after one shot, or if I simulate a shot by bleeding the asa that the regulator is screwed into. Anything below 250, and it is fine, I can put it on my gun and it works fine shot after shot(its a pump cocker, so I'm not worried about it blowing a noid or anything.) I took it apart, relubed all the orings, yet the problem still persists. Any ideas?

Which piston version do you have? White delrin or is it metal? If it's delrin, they could be worn out if you notice any scratches/gouging.
Also, change the piston o-rings themselves with fresh ones. Check the manual and double check the shims are in the correct order. A marq or g6r manual should have the correct order. Last thing could be a bad pin valve but I highly doubt that.
