HUGE leak

So my friend purchased an A5 off of eBay used. It came strictly stock other than coming with a remote line. He than purchased a HPA tank and just got it filled. He hooked up his tank to the line and it just leaked out every bit of pressure in his tank. Typically where the braided air line would be is where his remote line hooks up. From my understanding it was instantaneous from when he screwed it in and turned on the line. Any help would be much appreciated.

Was the remote line connected to the gun properly? Did he attach the tank to the line before attaching the line to the gun?

He attached tank to line than line to gun opened up the remote line and it just let it all go. Hmmm could it be the remote line valve is screwed?

Exactly at the point where the original steel braided line would be.

What I mean is directly on the body of the A-5. Sorry for any misunderstandings.

Any threads stripped on there and everything is installed properly? I mean how instantaneous are we talking, cause if it just shot all out of there that sounds like more than a leak and more like just broken. even a big leak would bleed relatively slow, sounds like something isn't hooked up properly or not at all if its just dumping the tank.
