z2 and virtue speed feed question

So I have a prophecy z2 and am looking at getting a virtue crown SF speed feed. I want to know if anyone has experience with this combination and how often does the speed feed pop open on you? I know the z2 has really crappy magnets holding the lid down. I need to be able to dive around and not have it pop open. Any suggestions as to how to keep it held down if it poses a problem (other than tape ha)?

Thanks in advance for responses!

I have it on my Z2. It stays better than the Empire lid/speedfeed and it's only popped open when I did a really horrible dive and broke other parts of the loader.

Otherwise, more powerful magnets, tape (my choice), or hot glue are all great ways to keep it better.

I should be receiving a Virtue speed feed in the mail this week for my Z2
I tend to dive around a lot so I can give some feedback when I get a chance chance try.

For anyone using a virtue crown sf with their z2. Remove the lid spring before installing the speed feed. No problems since. The issue with the magnet is that it's relatively weak compared to the z2 lid spring. Don't need tape or anything.

I dive around all day and even when I slam my z2 on the ground on a bad slide, it stays shut or closes immediately after opening rather than the spring just keeping it open.

Okay, unrelated, but what the hell is with Z2s and lid springs? I've never seen a Z2 in person or even in a tech manual from KEE that had a lid spring, I've instead seen a magnet that's there to keep it open. However, whenever I hear from someone who says they have a lid spring they say they don't have the magnet in the shell or on the lid to keep it open.

There are two magnets hokding lid down (shut) on the front of the lid. The hinge is sprung into the shellso when u open it, it is forced open via spring. There are two more mags in the hinge, one in the lid and one in the shell, they come together upon opening to hold it open.

Using the normal lid on a z2 is amazing. With lid spring and magnets you just slam it open and it stays put. To close is also really positive and you don't have to double check it. With speed feed you definitely want to remove the lid spring. I've never had mine pop open but...maybe play styles.
