I used to play with an Etha, it shoots pretty good but for the price range it's hard to not go for a new or used Axe.

The Mini GS does look pretty mint for those looking for a smaller marker, it's definitely a step in the right direction.

One thing to beware on the Etha is that the trigger frame and the trigger guard are so close together those with bigger thumb joints are going to find it hard to wrap their thumbs around the regulator.

Also the gun is quite loud and is not exactly smooth, but that's just a preference. Also it comes with a 693 barrel which is quite large for most paint so efficiency isn't stellar.

This gun is also not for you if you do any kind of night-balling. The LED is so bright you can use it for a flashlight.

The LED is that bright so that you can see it easily in the daytime.

Remember how dim the old ion LEDs were? Where you'd start the game with the gun off then in the pits you'd fire a paintball into your barrel cover because you couldn't tell whether the gun was on or off in the sunlight?

Even in the daytime with no shade through my smoke lens that LED is bright as ****. It's not like PE couldn't have exposed a setting to adjust the brightness or simply have a way to turn off the damn thing.

Before I sold it I used a little bit of electrical tape with holes poked in it to cover the LED but still allow it to show a little. Uncovered that LED was insanely bright.

I tried Elec tape but it's way too bright even if you peek a tiny sliver out for nightball.

Won't freeze your hand off if you play in the cold, so it has that going for it... without wrap around grips my fingers got cold quick (autococker with a dye .45 grip)

It feels good for a composite. I really like the panel grips, comfortable and durable.

I like this gun. It was the first gun I bought for myself. Personally you really can't complain with the price range. It does the job you need it to, if you compare it to rentals or any gun that's lower priced or similar priced you'll see that it's well worth the money. There are a few exceptions when it comes to comparing guns. I think their maybe 2 guns that are as good or even better that cost less. I tend to read more about Planet Eclipse guns so I could tell you off hand. Like I said for the money you pay it's worth it.

The composite feels solid on the Etha, it's the same stuff they use on the Eteks and Eteks are tanks.
