Virtue rubber speedfeed for Halo hopper

So I just got this rubber speedfeed for my Halo (for free) and before I took off the lid and put it on I wanted to make sure that it won't come off during play.

Here's a picture of it. As you can see it just sits on the Halo lid opening and is pretty snug but I haven't played with it yet so that's why I'm here.

Put it on...fill the hopper with paint and shake it around and see what happens. If it seems too loose maybe strap a zip tie around it to secure it.

There's supposed to be a clamping collar around the outside edge. Maybe Virtue will send you one? Contact them. I doubt it'll stay put just as it currently is. Maybe a few shakes at home won't do anything, but play a day, maybe some splatter gets under the lip, and that thing is slipping right off.

A large (long) zip tie will do the same thing, though. And is cheaper if Virtue makes you pay for a collar.

Ya as nerdcore said, there should be a collar. I find that the lid stays fairly snug without the collar, but use it regardless.

Reporting back for anybody else who has this issue. I just finished an e-mail discussion with Virtue customer support and they're mailing me a matching locking clamp for the speed feed for $6 ($1 shipping included).
