Put a lot of cases through it, it'll smooth out with more cases.

There's also the techt bolt that will increase efficiency, smoothness, and make it a bit quieter. However it has mixed reviews due to bolt stem wear.

The stock bolt is just fine. The performance difference between the TechT and the stock bolt is minimal at best. The Etha is a kicky marker. You could try adjusting your dwell settings, but you will lose out on consistency. Like Vicious said, put several cases of paint through it and it'll smooth out some. I really never noticed the kick everyone describes. I work a lot so maybe that helps, haha. A good grip goes a long way.
