So today while working on preparations for upcoming big game I found a pod that was dropped in late September of 2013 during our last big game on this field. It survived 5 months of Russian winter
and didn't get worse...
And it wasn't just 'OK'. It got better! It became more fragile, but strong enough to avoid barrel breaks (see video).
Paint's named Meteor. It comes from South Korea so US residents may be not that familiar with it. But it is a cheap 'strong' paint for recball play, that don't usually breaks on free fall test e.g.
