Cold Weather Tips

So im going paintballing this weekend at CPX in Illinois. Its supposed to be around 35 degrees out. I have a 2012 Proto reflex rail, a 48/3k ninja tank, and a reloader b loader. My mask is a crappy JT mask but it does have dual pane thermal lens. so that shouldn't fog.

Im looking for tips on what to wear, any possible gear problem prevention tips, and just any tips in general for playing in the cold.

I would like advice asap. Thanks.

Make sure you wear multiple thin layers. So if you get warm you aren't taking off a sweatshirt and only have a t shirt on underneath.

Replace what orings you can in your proto. It's a spool valve and they arent the best in the cold I forget about if your supposed to go with a thicker lube or thinner. Talk to your local paintball shop specially if they play in tournaments like mine does.

Your mask if its a half mask(most masks) and 270 degree view then its a Spectra the all plastic version of the jt pro flex. I got one in 2006.

A lot of markers have recommended settings for cold weather play, look them up for your marker if you haven't already. Also, try not to glob on grease when teching your marker, too much grease in the cold can lead to issues with proper cycling.
