I was only getting 2 pods and a full z2 out of it. To me that seems extremely low..
As for the first time shooting.. This marker was awesome.. Accurate and fun. Light weight.. Not much of noticeable kick at all.. Set to capped 10bps semi. Cant wait to shoot it again.
The gun will not chrono in the 280s or it was just inconsistent? If you are having trouble getting a high enough velocity, your tank output pressure may simply be too low. As far as inconsistency goes, a brand new marker can be a little less consistent than a broken in one but if it was truly plus or minus 30 than that is not normal. Check the condition and consistency of the paint and relube both the bolt assembly and regulator referencing Jack Wood's video on youtube. As far as the shot count goes, the paint to barrel fit plays a pretty big role in that.
