Karnivor E2 Velocity Issues

I have an E2 karnivor I bought used online last year. I have had issues with velocity/FPS since I got it. I have rebuilt and replaced all o-rings. There are no air leaks of any kind. The LPR and HPR are in perfect condition. All lower internals are in great condition. Stroke is set and yet nothing changes. I can fire without a drop in speed it just will not increase.

Adjusting the IVG. HPR and LPR I am unable to achieve ball speed of over 185-200 FPS. Any ideas or suggestions as to the cause or know of anywhere I can send it out to get serviced?

Are there any leaks or problems with the Solenoid? Did you replace the solenoid gasket or lube the internal noid o-rings?

No leaks from the front block and solenoid at all. Replaced that gasket as well. Everything is lubed and replaced on the front block. Just unable to achieve any velocity increase over 185-200FPS

have you tried sweetspotting the HPR?

Yes I was able to sweet spot, but it still would not increase velocity. Having gotten some additional feedback I am going to try and swap the lower springs and try again.

Yeah, sounds like a worn mainspring.

Changed the forward spring and rear spring in the lower (IVG). Was able to then reset the back block and adjust the stroke with success. Few turns on the HPR and it was up over 290FPS, So velocity issue resolved!

Thanks

Make sure you drop the hammer if you ever store it for long periods.

Will do. I bought it online and first go around did not take a look at the lower internals. My guess was the previous owner did not drop the hammer and over 18 month or longer period the spring tension let go. The replacement spring was over a full coil round longer and much stiffer.

Thanks!

was your old and new spring gold color? karni takes different size spring because of the hammer.

Replacement spring was gold. Original was silver (standard auto-cocker spring).
