mounting eyes on the 45?

Hey guys I have a very old pre 2k cocker that I wam looking to electrolize. the problem is I am trying to see if it is work my time to deal with the drilling of the eyes. I have the old body style with the 45 degree feedneck, and I was wondering if I should mount the eyes into/through the base of the feedneck on the body? If I do would it be close enough to the bolt to read?

No, for a right feed body you'll need BB eyes, drilled at base of the breech and an E2 board to support them (connector is a JST 1.5mm 4 pin).

To be perfectly honest though, you don't NEED eyes with today's low ROF caps, a force feed loader will do just fine.
