Need Advice Before Buying Nt11

Hi Guys,

I am currently using a fully upgraded 2008 Proto Matrix rail with Scythe Trigger. I am a drummer and have fast fingers, but can't seem to get that steady shot roll like I see most people do with other guns.

I actually tried an Ego and it felt even harder to walk.

What do you guys think about the Dye NT11 as being a great next step in my paintball addiction? Will I be able to walk that trigger better?

Should I jump to s DM12 instead?

I'd get a dm12, more reliable, smoother shot and better all around in my opinion. The nts if had all had issues with bolt stick and other issues.

Btw: most other people use ramp fireing mode (it's on your rail too) they don't roll straight semi auto

And you can adjust your trigger

trigger

Yeah I have the virtue redefined board and the ramp works great, but I play woodsball and it's not allowed.

I have that old school plastic trigger frame with the pivot point in front of the trigger. That guy Mike on YouTube that takes 30 minutes to make 1 point said something about never being able to walk the trigger properly on a marker with the trigger pivot point out in from of the trigger.

I was thinking to go for the DM12, but there appears to be a great deal on a new nt11.

Hmmm...what to do.....

trigger

So do you think either the NT11 or the DM12 is going to allow me to walk the trigger better in semi no matter how well I have adjusted my trigger on the 2008 PMR?

Basically, I have already adjusted the trigger every which way, but the manual action on the microswitch just plain sucks. I even tried a CP trigger to remove the side to side play.

I believe the dm and nt is more adjustable than the pm, but they're all pretty close to each other.

Go for the DM12, it has all of the same ergo's as the NT11 but with slightly newer technology. Not to mention they are incredibly reliable. My DM12 is the best gun I have ever owned and I've bee around a long time.

Advice

Hey thanks for the advice!! I was going to try something different like a PE, but Dye's Precision just kept calling me back saying, "Why do you need to go anywhere else." lol

I started looking at Egos and how badly worn out they start to look really fast. I shot a GEO and it felt rough for a spoolie compared to even my PMR.
Plus, you can't find parts for PE to save your life!

You really can't go wrong with the nt. (bring on the hate) I love mine and my girlfriend loves hers. They truly are the best of best worlds. You get the smoothness of a dm and the efficiency of an ego. The people who say they are junk just don't know how to set up their markers. (bring on more hate) Never had an issue. As long as you read the manual an don't think you know more than dye you will be fine. The trigger on them are amazing in my opinion. Plenty of adjustments to get it to your likings. If you don't like the spring return it has then you could always opt for the critical magnet kit.

I say try to shoot both and decide.
i disagre with your lack of parts for pe.
i had a used geo 1. Leaking sol. Housing. Pe mailed me a new one no charge.
BST is filled with ego parts.
Also my nt11 is outstanding.

This thread is full of so much ignorance. Woody and the slanted eye fella are the only ones who have given an educated response

NT11 shooting awesome and are lighter and with smaller profile than anything in their category.

NT11 for sure. DM12's are nice also but they are heavier and bigger. Its nice to have an LPR with the DMs but the feel of the NT beats it out personally.

Good lube and an NT will make you quite happy.
