Cosmetic defect fix for black guns

Hey all, just though I would share this minor cosmetic defect fix I stumbled upon in my garage.

I happen to have a gun blue touch up pen laying around from working on my 1911 and being a klutz... She needed a little touching up. Anyway I'm staring a some small wear marks on my Geo and then out of my peripheral spot my blue pen and think, why not?

Here is the before and after.

and here is the pen I have.

Hope this can help someone out!

Ps. Will update after AFPL this Sunday

How about Aluma Black? Better than that stuff? It actually reacts with the aluminum to turn it black.

Just got done playing a tournament in the rain, over two days a small spot wore through but the majority is still black. I'm guessing it will eventually all wear off and when it does I'll have to give Aluma Black a try.
