HEAT Core compressed air fills

Does anybody know if you can fill an empty hpa tank while it is on the K-series marker (MK3)? Since the HEAT Core is a blow forward system and auto-cocking, will it re-cock if I fill the tank directly on the marker, or do I need to unscrew it? I heard that you need to,

If it's anything like my Automag, you'll be fine refilling on the marker. Most blow-forwards are spring-returned, so they'll recock on their own even without air.

I'm pretty sure you need to take the tank off to re-fill if it dropped below 1k and dumped all the air out.

- it worked as long as I caught it before it dropped below 1000psi- cause the output on the remote's 800, if you try to go from 0 in the stock, to 800 from the remote- the spool won't return to battery properly

I can agree with that. If the pressure drops below 1000psi, the refill sticks the bolt about halfway forward. Best bet is just to either use it until empty, or take off the tank to refill so that the heat core resets. The M17 specifically claims that this is no longer a problem, though. Guess we'll have to see.
