I've decided I don't need to hold on to this one any longer. There are plenty of JT collectors out there who would appreciate this one more than me. This is one of the rarest JT pieces out there.
For some history and background (if you want to know more about it), there is a pbnation post by John here
and Dale Price gives a little information on mcarter here
This particular clear mask comes a fella who played with the Paraplegic Turtles at the 96 world championships on ESPN. That is basically where these masks were born and died. It belonged to Dave Miller, a teammate of mine for the 97 season with Phantom Force. If you explore Dale's thread above, you'll find out that Dave is also famous for dating Tonya Harding around the time of the leg bashing incident. Who knew that pseudo-famous people played paintball?
Anyway, this mask, like any that have survived this long, is not in perfect condition. Most of these blew up on the field or in a gearbag. It has one large crack on the left side that Dave and I tried to super glue back together a million years ago. It didn't stick then, and it isn't stuck now. There is some slightly visible residue from the glue. Nothing terrible, but it is there. The mask naturally stays together, I gently nudged it apart for the photo. Other than that, there is some light spiderwebbing in a couple of spots, but no breaks. Hopefully you can see things well enough in the pictures, this thing was difficult to photograph.
Let me know if you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer what isn't answered already.
