Best MagFed for First Strike rds. ?

I'm interested in picking up a MagFed gun primarily for shooting first strike rounds. I've done some research but was curious what your guys thoughts are. I don't care about being able to put a hopper on because I wouldn't be planning on doing that, and I have a strong desire to have tank in the stock to keep weight very low.

Right now I'm looking at either picking up a Dye DAM, Milsig Paradigm or Elite Pro, Tiberius Arms T4.1 or waiting for the T15 to come out.

If the dye dam had option of running the tank through stock I'd of bought one already.

Has anyone done an efficiency test with these guns with 13/3k tank? I saw a video that hustle did for a milsig gun but couldn't find anything for the others.

When you guys hold guns with stocks built in do you hold it like a regular gun? or how are you sighting?

I'm coming from 2 years of primarily playing pump with Winchester hopper, so the limited paint isn't new to me, I like the idea of a light weight setup that I can still shoot easily when I'm laying down or in awkward positions.

I think the DAM is the most feature-rich marker in this category. You can load a magazine with up to 20 first strike rounds (10+10), which is unique to that marker as far as I know. Also, you can easily add or reduce the length of the gun easily by installing and removing the shroud segments. The lack of a tank stock is probably its only weak point. That, and the reported issues with velocity.

The Paradigm Pro is a bit large for my taste, if I were going Milsig I'd lean toward the M-Series Elite. I really wish they'd get moving with that M17 though, it looked cool.

With that said though, I don't own any of these markers, I remain planted firmly on the fence.

The paradigm offers a bunch of features I don't need but the elite pro looks good. If only the dam had option for tank in the stock.

I wish theyd release more details on the t15

I run two types of RAP4 468 that are pretty nice. They work well, they extremely customizable and the price point is not overwhelming.

Same with the Spyder Hammer 7. I used to run a Hammer 7 with in stock air, and 7 magazines. It was a nice pump marker with mag fed.

Any DMAG equipped gun that supports first strike is capable of this. 468, T68, MK5 w/ FSR Bolt, etc. the DMAGs are similar to the DAM mags in that they are double stacks.

If your going to be shooting FSR's i would recommend getting the marker with the best consistency. Out of the #'s ive seen posted on here and MCB i'd say that milsig is the way to go for a magfed setup. I think the parapro (once broken in) is getting +/- 2-3, not sure if the m-series is getting the same but since its using the same internals it should. Ive seen pretty loosy chrono results from the RAP4 and scarab rigs. Not sure on the dye dam but the no tank in stock makes it a non-option for me. The SR-1 from CCM is very consistant as well (+/- 1 FPS) but its a breach load only and they are hard to get.

Apologies for going slightly off topic, but...

Anyone have experience shooting FSR's through a TPX? I've seen many threads from people debating and explaining the conversion parts, but none actually discussing how it performs.

right now I'm leaning towards the milsig elite pro, but if Tiberius releases more information on the T15 that could still be a contender. If I find a dye dam for the right price I'll probably pick that up as well just to play around with. The nice thing about picking up used guns is that you can always resell them when you're bored with them and recoup most of the money you've invested.

luckily for me it is winter here so I'm not in any hurry to make a decision.

I've pretty much eliminated the DAM due to tank configuration, bulkiness, and terrible air efficiency. I have no desire to use hopper & first strike at the same time.. just one or the other so it makes more sense to have a dedicated magfed gun & regular mech/pump/electro.

so now its basically down to MilSig Elite Pro Series vs. T4.1 vs. waiting for T15

Side note: come to find out it is very difficult to find these items used with the options I want, I may have to break down and buy something new - AHHHH

RAP4's 468. Unquestionably. A lot of these people don't have the guns they're recommending but i do. 468 all the way, never going back.

Me and my brother have. If you're going to use 12 grams for it, they perform just as well as any other first strike marker. If you're running it off of a remote line, the only added advantage is the accuracy because the TiPX only chronos at 260-270 max.

Eww, I need the full 300 fps.

I'm going to hold out until t15 is available, unless I see a good deal on something else in the meantime
