Go Pro and Greg Hastings R7?

Hey everyone! I was looking for user experience input on both the Go Pro and Greg Hastings R7 cameras. I figured PbN might be the best place for this because the latter camera is primarily paintball based.

Forgetting paintball, I'll be going abroad next semester and was thinking it might be interesting to have a go/pro mounted or an R7 taped to one of the shoulder straps of my backpack or something in some way, to be able to look back on a trip or do a time lapse.

First and foremost, would this be a problem in certain countries (ill be in Vienna, Austria and traveling a good portion of eastern and central europe), with certain people or specifically with airports? I was thinking the R7 electrical taped as a shoulder camera would be much less obnoxious than a larger and squarer go pro.

If the idea is even worth doing/possible, which camera would be the one for the job?

Thanks!

Dan
