Well, I finally opened my wallet and paid to play paintball again...

I went to the same scenario that the original video on this thread was filmed at last year.

Here is this years video, and the same general makes an appearance!

I'm rocking my Tippmann factory Realtree A-5 with my MonsterSpin barrel system, and sadly my brand new flash card on my ZoomCam flaked out, and all my zoom footage is corrupt, but I still had my Contour Roam helmet cam filming, and I got close enough to the opponents that you can see the hits without the ZoomCam. I am using Marbalizer and shooting 275fps in this video. Apex 2 tip set at 4 clicks, and Flatline set at standard flat shots.

This is a long one, but full of tips & tricks.

Yeah, the A-5 is just an amazing gun for the money!

The video I posted above has been blowing up on youtube, over 50,000 views in three months!... Which totally blew me away, as I only posted it for a few friends, as they have been bugging me to show them what I do when I go to a scenario and play on my own.

Here is a game from Saturday where I show how I use the flanking technique to put my team in a position to control the game by holding one entire side of the field, and not letting a single player from the other team into "my territory".

I even bust out my Tipx and shoot some guys with my LEFT hand in this one! This is an entire game (minus 5 minutes I edited out as it was me waiting and boring...)

Love your camera setup, quite amazing,

the barrel kills, come on. I wish someone would have lit you up point blank

No, I'm using a Contour Roam for my Helmet cam, and my custom ZoomCam for the zoomed in gun cam footage.

I made a "how to film paintball" video that shows my camera gear, if you are interested in filming your games fps.

haha!

Yeah, it is weird, I always assume I will get lit up when doing that, but it has never happened! I barrel tag players a ton and I've never been shot doing it! Lol!

I'm a tightwad... I got my Contour Roam for $100... It films in 720HD with 170 degree wide angle, which is what I wanted for my helmet cam, plus it has a much lower profile and doesn't stick up any higher on my mask... As people DO shoot at it.

The audio is better, you don't need the plastic case to protect it, and it has a slide switch instead of a button to turn it on... I often forget if I turned on my camera or not, and with the Contour, you can reach up there, and feel the position of the slide switch and know if it is recording or not...

With a button, you have to hit it and listen for the "beep" to know if it is on or not, and when you are sneaking around in the woods, a "beep" will often give away your position. I have the beep turned off on my Contour as I don't need it with the slide switch.

Contour got purchased, so they should be back soon, and the ability to mount it on its side and turn the lens is really helpful when trying to eliminate any extra "targets" on your person when filming. Go pros just stick up too high when mounted on the center of the mask, unless you build a mount that covers your vision...

I have lots of friends with Go pro's but I prefer the Contour Roam.

Lots of new footage coming soon to my channel...

Here is a funny preview. The Sniper Assassin using an A-5 vs a Ninja using a BT-4...

Who will win?...
