Anyone Used FXR set Yet?

Has anyone used this yet? I have seen the Vice video, but how is it vs the other markers for mag fed? I have a TIPX so I would love to get this for its ease of conversion, but its either get this set or look into a X7, two very different setups so that is why I am wondering.

Also any sit down reviews would be great or blogs please.

It looks pretty sweet; I might've bought one already if they had released the tan one like those Vice guys were using. I can't go putting a black one on my tan TiPX.

I look forward to seeing some proper reviews, too.

I have seen a couple of tipx with this kit(ar a vary similar kit) there was one for sale already done up in the BST section.

I am vary interested in seeing this as this winter I would like to take a tipx to this type of platform.

IMO I think it's the biggest waste of $ ever.

It only does 2 things I would consider to be positive
1) it allows you to use a picatinny rail system
2) you can now shoulder the gun

Neither of these are anywhere close to being worth $200, plus the gun if you dont have one is at least another $200 so you're at over $400 with only one magazine and a PB gun that has no functional upgrade to speak of unless you consider the 2 things above a true upgrade.

For me this eliminate one of my most favorite attributes of a magfed type gun or pistol. The lack of a large awkward tank or a tanglesome remoteline. At least with the TPX this is the case seeing as the front of the gun is enclosed.

I mean why not get a Milsig MK3 CQB for $349 instead?
Serves the same purpose for $50+ less.

Just my 2

I've handled one, although not played a game with it. First impressions were that it was well built but very heavy.

Perhaps that's Milsig's intention. They're selling these products for other manufacturer's markers, like Zetamags, Fazmags, Marksman barrels, the FXR - all of which are solid products, but raise the level of their brand on the whole. I think it will ultimately result in more sales of actual Milsig markers, which I'm sure is what they're most interested in as a company.

Does the TiPX wobble at all? Or is it pretty secure?

Where have you heard about a tank in stock? I've been searching for a while, but can't find anything on it.

I emailed Milsig and asked if their MATS works for the FXR, I got the following reply on October 8th:
"We'll be releasing a MATS specifically for the FxR shortly, thanks for your inquiry."

Thank you! I did the same thing about a week ago, but didn't get any response. Hopefully it gets released soon. That's really the only hesitation I had regarding the FXR.

I would think the general consensus here is that the MK3 CQB is a better option. I would have to aggree, but i would suggest going for the Pro Players pack that Hustle offers, or see if somebody on the B/S/T is willing to give theirs up. I just ordered the MK3 myself, because it seems like the best bang for the buck. With the pro players pack you're getting the marker with 1 mag, a 13ci ninja tank, MATS stock, 4 extra mags, oil, and tools. So I'm completely set on this marker for under 500, now all I need are some mag pouches.
