Why does everything in paintball have to be so expensive?! I think that's cool as crap, though. Putting a loader inside the stock. Interesting concept.
Like always, though, my collegiate status renders me unable to purchase the newest gear (or even the stuff that's been around a while...).
Tell me how it goes if anyone ends up buying it!

If you could sell this as a complete marker for sub $1000 I think you'd sell a TON of these Dzuri.
People have asked me to build my bullpup for them, sadly I don't have the tooling to crank them out quickly or I would

It's nowhere near as nice as what others have been posting, but this is what I've been working on:

Still have a little bit of work to do on it, but it works for the moment.

Very cool Chase. I always wondered if the ion Can would fit in a car stock. Just curious, what's the length from trigger to buttstock? Did you mill the breach to be fs compatible? And also, how is setup to fire? I don't see eyes, so I'm assuming some sort of mech fire mod?

The Ion can is a pretty much perfect fit for the stock I used. It's a Rap4 stock intended for an x7, so I'm not sure how it compares to other such stocks.

The length from the trigger pin to the back of the stock is 16.5" or so(I've got long arms, so it's just right). OAL is 26" with the 18" Bigshot shown in the photo, though it can use shorter barrels without issue(12" barrels are flush with the end of the frame). Breech is not cut for FS rounds yet, though I might do so in the future. It is indeed mechanical, with a cut-down and modified Cocker 3-way for the trigger valve. The trigger itself I got in a random box of parts...it's anyone's guess what it originally belonged to. The RT sight rail you see on top is actually just a structural piece I used to attach the firing assembly to the trigger frame/rail.

I'm quite proud of my magazine well. It's made of polycarbonate that I formed around the magazine with a pentorch and strengthened with Gorilla Glue and JB Weld. The release is a magnetic clip with a few machine screws and a piece of aluminum u-channel to extend the lever. Magazines slide in easily and lock in with a nice "click". When released, the magazine is actually forced out by the sliding door spring.

I still need to redo the attachment of the magwell to include detent covers, but that's really all it is missing. It has yet to double feed without detent covers, but I'd rather not lose them on the field.

Alright Dzuari, It's been more than a month, you have a prototype yet? Full production? Come on, I want one already!!!! Just teasing man. But I really would love to know if you are going to keep going on this project and make it a reality.

Ya, I've still got it going, I'm super busy with work right now having to make some fixtures for new jobs coming in. One of our customers came in this month and while i was talking to him he told me of a company that does aluminum extrusion dies for around $800-2000(I figured they where 5k+). So when i redesign it i'm going to make it a bit more ergonomic and see if i can get a quote from them.

Now that you can get eyes for the flex valve system ala the Crossover XVR it may simplify your system.

Fn2000 Mag-Fed Ion

This is my finished project,... The "BEAST"

This is my Fn2000 Mag-fed ion project, it has a virtue board and virtue red eyes, dye hyper3 reg with thread saver cap mod, modified ion breach and modified tacamo mkv mag well, long ion hoses, extended battery wires, micro switch with extended wires, ion to a-5 tread adapter, flasc a-5 9" barrel with a flasc 9" extension and a tm15 3" extension, flasc suppressor..... the virtue eyes stop the gun from firing when the mag is empty (no guess work or counting shots) and the mag release is fully functional,...tactical rail on the bottom with a grenade launcher and the g36 carry handle with scope on top....

Enjoy

here is a link to a short video i made shooting it

NICE!
I think I shared your thread on here earlier, really cool to see the totally finished product.
Mind if I ask why all the barrell extensions and the a-5 adapter rather than a single barrell? Also why a 22" barrel length.

The 22" barrel is because the feed is all the way in the back of the marker I guess

it dose have to be kinda long to cover the distance from the ion as it sits back where the mag comes out,.. plus i like the longer fn2000 barrle style with the silencer,... but i can shorten it to 15"-18" with a birdcage tip,... i used the a5 adapter so i could use flasc barrles for two resons 1 when i started this i could not find a flasc ion barrle and 2 i can chage out barrles with other guns i have

Sirward that looks amazing. I'd love to see some pics of that thing opened up.

I'm not very good at the whole modding thing, but now I'm wondering if i could start with a bullpup airsoft gun body and cram all the bits into it? I'm thinking mechanical enmy internals

Nice!
I have to wonder though: Why the weird backwards bottomline ASA/remote setup?
Wouldn't it be more convenient to simply have the remote nipple come straight down out of the regulator?

If I were planning to use a remote, that would be the best method. However, I have the asa reversed so that I can have a small tank mounted on the gun without it making reloads a hassle. I may change it up if/when I decide to try a remote.
