Working on a cost effective DMAG compatible marker

Here's my working DMAG magfed Enmey prototype that I hacked together using an Enmey body, some styrene plastic, jb weld and PC-7 epoxy filler.

This was mainly to see if it could be done.
Now I am going to take it to a machine shop, and have them make a much nicer body design, using mine as an example for how the Magwell will line up.
I am hoping to then make these bodies available, without a massive price tag.
The Enmey is a fantastic, reliable full mechanical design, for those who aren't familiar with them.
Very easy to maintain.
This will make a completely battery free marker setup.
I'm hoping to make a setup, that will allow folks to get into magfed for $300
And that would include 10 mags.

Haven't tried first strike yet. Haven't had a chance to.
That's next on the list.
But the Enmey is really easy on paint.

It's not the gentleness of the bolt that is the issue. Normal balls are, we'll, round. The bolt face can be slightly larger than the ball with out much issue (to much larger than the ball and issues do happen though). With first strike rounds the back of the round is flat. The bolt face MUST be slightly smaller than the round, or you will clip the round immediately after the round you are shooting.

This shouldn't be to hard of an issue to fix. A bevel on the bolt face should do the job.

Have you tried the magwell for the MKV of MK5? They have an ambidextrous latch for the mag release on the back of the magwell, and might be easier to operate than the one pictured.

Nice job again with the Enemy
They'll work fine in the Enemy I suspect with a little breech modding
I made a FS magfed Ion,minor issues so far,out of 40 or so rounds
only one has burst, oddly about 10 ft out of the barrel,I suspect it flipped backwards or I loaded it in wrong
I'm using the TechT L6 bolt, the front is beveled as Fubarius mentioned above

If it's $300 with 10 mags, that would definitely be something I would buy. Hope it works out alright with the FS, though.
