Not sure what you're expecting or experiencing from the first post, but install the bolt and tune the gun (the method in the sticky) using boss' settings as a guide.

Is there anything wrong with it? No? Then what's the problem, exactly?

Tie a rope to your barrel and the other end to the other team's deadbox. There you go.

I'm guessing by shooting ropes you mean ball on ball accuracy. To do that you need a good barrel, good quality paint and under bore.

I'm using the infamous bolt with short spring, infamous guide orings, dwell at 3,back cap at around 1.25 turns out and a .686 T22 barrel and my gun is really accurate. I have found out that when I chrono low 280's it shoots more accurate than in the 290's.
I think you might just need some break in on the gun. If I remember correctly mines was not all that great when I first got it until I ran some cases through it.

why reg at 160 with 3ms of dwell? 3ms of dwell seems very low and the reg really doesn't need to be below 180. i can't say how exactly your modification will affect performance, but using settings more similar to the stock ones would defs help you "shoot ropes"

Put your reg up to about 180-185 and get at least a 14 inch barrel. That's how I did it and my Axe has been shooting great.

This is a good place to start, just be sure you are using the correct barrel insert. I normally use the smallest insert possible that doesn't give me barrel breaks. Typically a good baseline is to try and blow paint through the insert by itself, it should be difficult to blow the paint through, but not impossible. The axe typicaly likes some back pressure that underboring provides. It will close the valve faster and give you an increase in efficiency and help to limit blow back (rough air traveling up the feedneck, possibly breaking paint before it drops into the breach).
