Mag-Conversion kits

Are they really all that good? Or would i be better off just buying a RAP4 or MilSig gun?

I beg to differ on that one check out the video they made while playing at decay of nations

Like any other markers they need to be tweaked to meet your needs. I know of people who have had issues with Dye Markers right out of the box.

If you already have a marker that you can get a conversion kit for then I'd get the kit.
If not, they have (on rap4.com) a converted phenom pre built for $400 and an A-5 for slightly less.
I would take the phenom or A-5 operating systems any day over one of rap4s own markers and I think the converted tippys are cheaper too.
The milsigs are standard blow backs like the A-5 with a more awkward looking mag housing so I'd skip them because of the price and the un-authentic look.

I would not take much stock on those videos. I have had plenty of RAP-4 markers and gear. Im sorry to say it was one disapointment after the other. The only gear i have that i really like is there HAWK EYE paint ball mask.

I rather stay with my MINI invert.

the milsig IS an A5 .....

Milsig>rap4

with the rap4 conversion kit, you will be getting a "plastic" magwell but with a milsig you get a metal one.

NO extended mag release for the conversion kits yet .... Milsig comes standard with extended release.

A milsig can be had for cheaper than the A5/phenom pre-built.

Milsig's can be hopper fed or mag fed they also accept the box mag from rap4.

AGAIN METAL MAGWELL compared to PLASTIC.

Fn Scar Magfeed!!!

To all the nay sayers....
Works better, more efficient, And way less chops then a cyclone!!!

Only Negatives: The mags were a little loose in the mag well. But I fixed this very easily. There is a recessed section on the inside of the mag well. Its inside nearest the trigger. You can see it in my 3rd photo about a half inch below the mag release button. I put a strip of foam in there and now they fit perfect, no rattle but still drop free without a fight.
Also, the internals of the box mag wont spin if they sense any pressure (to avoid internal chopping ) so it realistically takes 225 paintballs, not 250. 250 is to heavy for it to function. but 225 is more then enough for me. box mag runs on 9V power But that's better then a gas hog cyclone. Ill be doing efficiency comparisons soon. and its slightly heaver then a hopper. still WAY lighter then a real FN SCAR...

That being said, she works like a dream.. Im never going back!!
THANK YOU RAP4 FOR FINALLY MAKING A DECENT PRODUCT!!!
And restoring my faith in your products.

Before

Finished!!!!!!

I love my magfed Phenom. It's great, not major problems ther than the mags are a little loose but thanks to MACHINE_GUN I put a piece of strip foam in the magwell and no more wobling mags.
