NLRunkle's Curator's Corner Collection

This is a collection of my current marker's that I do play with. These don't hang on a wall or sit in a bag in the back of my closet. What's the point of having them if they don't get used every once in awhile
Up first is my pride and joy. Nothing to special, just a center feed Autococker, serial numbered 28,448 which places it somewhere in between a 1995-1996 Cocker. In my opinion very cool being that old and a center feed and it hasn't been touched by a mill. Everything internal is AKA, AKA bolt, AKA sear and trigger plate on the single frame trigger. ACI velocity adjuster, takes the little cut out thumb dialer, nice cause you don't have to remove the cocking rod. Palmer's Rock, Clippard Ram and STO 4-way. Has the matching shroud and original back block. Hogue wood grips, Air America Violator Reg and Air America Apocalypse reg on the tank. I've owned this for somewhere around 15 years and this is how I played with it back in the day, so it's how I still play with it today. I actually took this Cocker out on the field last year and all the young kids had no idea what it was. Then when you hand it to them and the hold, there first question is, "you carry that thing around and play with it?"

Current Projects

CURRENT PROJECTS
LED Project - Converting a LCD frame to fit on the LED body to do a Virtue PM7 board conversion

Dark LED Low Pressure Project - Running this with a Virtue PM7 board. It is shooting 280fps with only 200psi input pressure. Mod list: Main body-Tubes combined via two 1/4npt holes and plugs from underneath. Air port for intake enlarged significantly, air port for exhaust increased from .245 to .285, plug added to rear of battery tube. Grip frame-LED stove pipe recess added, air port added and enlarged from stock, o-ring groove added and enlarged from stock. VSA-Air port significantly enlarged. Rotobreech-Air port enlarged from .245 to .285. Bolt-Venturi holes enlarged. LPR-additional porting added to lip, valve spring replaced with lighter spring. Valve stem-shaft turned down to increase air flow. Valve body-valve seat enlarged and moved forward for more valve movement, exhaust hole opened from .245 to .285. Hammer-significant weight reduction. Ram-Air port holes enlarged, flow channels added. I think the smallest diameter hole from reg to barrels is .220".

A E-Blade STO Autococker that I picked up basically for free when the deal was all said and done. Since I had nothing into figured I'd hold onto it for awhile. Serial numbered 48,628 which puts it about 1998, another old center feed body
Both the solenoid and LPR were leaking. Replaced the LPR, still working on the noid. Might also replace the board with a E2.

A P-blocked STO Autococker body. Serial numbered 61,442 which puts it at a 1999.

What I believe to be a AIM Autococker body that I picked up just because I liked the mill work.

And last is the Merlin Body that I picked up for a custom build.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking FreeFlow because of the slots cut between the tubes. Their bodies were the closest thing that I saw that looked like this one.

It is most definitely an AIM cocker.

Love the angels! The first cocker is by far my favorite though

Thanks That cocker is definitely my favorite as well. I like to call it a "Will" cocker. Like those "Will" birds that you buy when your 50 and they live to be 100, so you have to will it to someone else to take care of it. This will be going to my son when that time comes.
I might be hooked on that Viking though. My first one. Just got it yesterday and aired it up, thing shoots darts and from a farther distance to boot

Thanks, I love the older ones though that don't have the spot milled out for the STO badge on the rear. I like the mill work just not that big badge. The blue one is going to get built and re-anno'ed. Haven't decided what yet, maybe a spalsh fade. I really like this one.

So far the only thing I haven't tracked down is a bolt that fits the P-block. Kicking myself because I had 3 AKA Lightning P block bolts in my possesion and I let them go. Now I need one

Thanks again for the body. Already tracked down two frames for it, single and double, SCM III, AKA cocking rod, AKA beavertail, AKA Sidewinder, AKA clamping feedneck, 4-way, ram and the lower internals. Talking with Mario about the anno work.
Already fixed and sold the LCD Apollo.

So is your main shooter a Bob Long autococker? I'm pretty sure he was the only guy selling vertical feed bodies that early. The only part that confuses me is the cut/lightened backblock on the gun. I didn't think BL cockers ever came with them. Was it added?
