PhotoMOB v37 - Our Thread Has 37 Megapixels

2009 - Las Vegas, NV. A group of photographers forged a bond that grew... and grew... and grew! The group spawned a forum, a website, clothes and headbands. It's amazing that something so simple as a group of photographers who love to make people look cool could grow from a group of 8 to the large group of Members, Nominees and Followers/friends. I hope that we continue to grow and offer something unique to the paintball world and beyond in photography.

-Robbo

The PhotoMOB is a collaboration of photographers, ranging from hobbyists to professionals. We all have one similar interest: photography, in many cases, more specifically paintball photography. We have joined together, creating this group to bring our vision to the masses! We will take advantage of our numbers to learn from each other's strengths and improve on techniques that have been built by those who came before us. We will showcase our work and promote community beyond the field, by involving more and more photographers, hosting more and more events inside and outside of the sport.

To the players: We hope that you enjoy our work and support the photographers in the PhotoMOB! Hire them at events, give them thanks for making it to events, give them a water when they're in the pits! We are self policed and if someone in our group is not living up to the high standards, they will be demoted or removed from the thread and website. Because of that, you should feel quite confident in working with any of us. We'll be organizing new and exciting things for all of us to benefit from at events, ranging from "PhotoMOB PhotoBooths" to parties and group gatherings afterhours!

SYLPP! SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL PAINTBALL PHOTOGRAPHER!

To the photographers: If you're a photographer and would like to be involved... it all starts here! Post up, get to know the crew... we'll make sure to invite you out to our next meet up at an event or elsewhere! Membership requires a nomination from a listed PhotoMOB member and final membership decision will be based on the person's contribution to the thread. Pending memberships will be listed under the member list! The movement starts here!

Got my lens trekker 600 v1 yesterday. Lens + hood extended + TC + body, fit perfectly. It's mint, but smells like cat piss

Can anyone tell me WTF is up with Paul C Buff? I placed a decent sized order yesterday and get an email this afternoon stating that my order cannot be processed because they don't accept credit cards issued by Paypal. It's a normal business Mastercard that simply draws off my Paypal account. It's kind of irking the **** out of me because I was looking to build a system around Einstein monolights with full control through the Cybersync system, but if my money, no matter how it's provided to them isn't good enough I suppose I'll have to take my business elsewhere.

Just wondering if anyone had a good reason for this before I call and blow up on them.

Weird. I've used both Amex and Mastercard through them (paypal), plus my student discount, never had issues.

Speaking of Cybersyncs, I think I'm going to get rid of them. Having too much fun Hypersyncing.

I'm in total disbelief. I've been completely stonewalled. I can't believe a company would make themselves this hard to do business with.

1. PCB will not ship to my business address, as a trucking company rents space here and they won't ship to any address where a trucking company or freight forwarder exists. I'm not about to have them ship it to my home, as I live in the kind of well-off working class neighborhood where people come through during the day to pick through trash and steal packages when we're out making a living.

2. They won't accept my Paypal card because of past fraud issues. I even offered to provide them with faxed copies of my driver's license, credit card, and even a business card to tie my name to the shipping address. No dice.

I guess PCB is off the table for my lighting equipment and my money will go to a different brand through a vendor like Adorama or B&H that will be willing to do business with me. What a shame.

I snagged a CyberCommander from a third party seller last week. Anyone interested in one for $150 shipped?

That's really ****ty. I have never had a problem with PCB. I have had issues with my bank/debit card, in which they called me and helped me work it out other than that, they're spot on. That's bizarre though. you can always find some used bee's

I offered to make things easy on them, and they wouldn't comply. I'm going to send an email to hopefully a higher authority there, but I'm keeping my options open in the meantime. I mean, I've always heard about how stellar PCB's customer service was, and the first time I deal with them I get this repeated line about 'It's company policy and it's clearly stated on the website'. No flexibility. What a joke.

Hell with that. I shouldn't have to that far around my *** to spend money with a company. If that's going to be the game, then I'll take my money elsewhere. Gotta tell my 10 people though.

Holy Christ, they're acting like you want them to break ITAR laws.
