Phantoms don't have the resale they once did, but it's always nice to have options for a gun as well.

Ok so i just coming back into PB after a few years off and i have decided to go pump instead of semi. To the guy that asked how to get into pump cheap i bought a autococker trilogy for 50 bucks off of a guy bought a 30 dollar pump kit for it i want to use the tube feed so i got some 3/4 inch pvc pipe and a 90 degree 3/4 to 1/2(i believe) elbow put made one for 10 rounds and one for 15 rounds and wrapped it in black tape. pvc $1.27 Elbow $1, black tape $.67. and if you want to use 12 grams the adapter is 11.47 on ANSgear.com. However i chose a 13ci HPA tank $60 (back to the consistancy thing) and i ported the stock barrel using a drill press to reduce noise(stealth is key if your not seen or heard you cant get hit)and i have found that evil matches the stock barrel quite nice i might eventualy get a stiffi kit. so total i have 143.14 in it.(not to bad for what i think is a pretty stellar pump and it always feels good to use something you made).

Empire Sniper

Found a great deal on a sniper and decided to get it. Played a few games with it yesterday and realized how slippery the pump handle is. Now, I know I can probably wear gloves, but I hardly ever wear any. Is there another way to add grip to the pump handle ?
Also...
After firing a shot, should I always hear the vibrating of the inner spring ?
And finally...
How often should I clean it ?

Cleaning is simple as long as you haven't gotten dirt or paint on the internals somehow: sick it under the sink.

The valve burping can be mitigated by respringing it. Of course then you have to rebalance your reg as well.

After every day of use. I have a Sterling pump that's from the early 90's and I cleaned/clean it after everyday of use and it still shoots like a champ. Show your gun some love and it will love you back!

Practice at home with a mirror and doorframe. This builds muscle memory for right and left.
Apply in games.

Yup. Pretty much take off all the pneumatics, order a pump kit that corresponds to your era (pre 2000, or 2000+), install said pump kit.

It also depends on whether your cocker is mini'd, half blocked etc.

Pics would help.

It's comparing apples to oranges. A semi shoots at as fast as you want it to shoot, whereas a pump you need to cock the gun every shot.
