Are you in North DFW? If so, Fort Paintball in Allen has a great crowd and decent prices. BYOP, $20 field / air fee.

There is a 3 man D5/open series forming in Louisiana. The next stop is in lafayette, la on May 19! It's a veryyyy nice field and you can sign up on the appa website. It's the Southern Louisiana Paintball League.

My friend and I go to Fort Paintball out in Parker, TX. It's more of a local spot, but the people are great (staff and ballers) and it's extremely well-priced. Although it may be a little too laid back at times with crowds, it's my favorite. Only place to let you bring your own paint, too.

Fort is cool the refs are chill and the crowds are not that big most of the time.

I also go to gatsplat sometimes but its fpo an paint is like 65 buck for a case but if you want to play indoor gatsplat is where to go because the refs are awesome and lots of teams and advanced players play there so if you're looking for indoor air-ball gatsplat is the best one

I play at a field in Seven Points called Whatz-Up Paintball Park. It's south and a little east of the DFW area. I like the field (PSP regulation size, layout, and turfed), and the airball crowd is pretty good. Prices aren't bad either, but it's also FPO. They do have a "register early online and entry is free" the first Sunday of every month.

Fun on the Run is pretty cool aswell. Very laid back. FPO and only 20 bucks for all day if you have your own gear. Several different fields. Down by Lake Worth Tx.

I recently gave DFW AP another try after almost 6 years and I highly recommend AGAINST this field. My buddy called for a paint check on someone and the ref told him "don't tell me how to do my ****ing job." Another ref was nearby when I did a run through and he called me out despite the fact no paint was busted on me and the other guys were wearing it. 15 people on the sideline all saw it and said something to the ref... We found out the people left in were regulars. That became a recurring theme where the regulars were never paint checked and were definitely wiping. Later a ref was yelling at a player threatening to "red flag" him. The general player atmosphere was a bunch of douche bags talking about tournament this and tournament that, when they were snobby cheaters that weren't very good. Overshooting was also a problem.

I play almost exclusively speedball and am a former NPPL player so it's not like I dislike that type of play. Go to whatzup, official or fort IMO. Cousins is cool too, but there aren't too many walk ons and they're kind of pricy.

I play DFWAP almost every weekend, and not once have I ever heard a ref cussing, throwing "red flags", and letting regulars get away with wiping. I have to admit there is over shooting from time to time, usually because of newer players with electros and "MUH PSP/uncapped ramp" non sense. But overall a good time
